I thought I live in the south, but apparently I don’t.

I got on the shuttle bus earlier today leaving my last class and it was really full. There were no free seats and several guys were standing throughout the bus. There were however at least twenty guys on the bus who were sitting, and not one of them offered me a seat. I had no choice but to stand, so I held on to a bar that I could reach and the bus started driving. We came to an intersection and the bus stopped, so I took my hand off the bar for not even one second to check my phone and the bus jerked forward. I fell back and hit the people behind me and tried to wildly grab for something but I couldn’t find anything and my hand landed really hard on the floor of the bus. Even after I fell, no one helped me up or offered me a seat.

I’m sorry, but I thought I lived in SOUTH Carolina and attend the University of SOUTH Carolina. I thought we had Southern hospitality. But I guess not.
